thank goodness!! We have wrap bracelets back in stock and even a new colour combination in the Nik of time for Christmas.
I thought we would never get our order in time from the states, and I don’t even want to think about the very bad exchange rate!
But the result is a classic design in a contemporary colour combination.
Wow I just realised how long it has been since I updated my blog! Its been a really busy year so far. If you have been to the shop/ workshop lately you will have noticed that Noeline has been in charge.
We have still been heading to lots of markets and shows, but its amazing how time slips away. Unfortunately I was sick in late April so I missed going to a few events and my husband went for me - he did a great job - thanks Allan.
So far this year I have made a quick trip to Hong Kong - I had a few colours that we have been desperate to get - and as I always say, I need to buy in person. We also been experimenting with some new styles and designs - its been exciting. Check them out when you see us at our next market or in the shop.
We have applications in to some big events coming up - I'll let you know how we get on. Its always a nervous timing waiting for them to come through!
Its been a crazy week. The weather was awful over the weekend and resulted in having to cancel our attendance at two markets. I hated to do it, but I really believe and live safety.
This weekend we have Violet Town on Saturday and Mornington on Sunday! They will be bumper markets.
In the shop its been busy, and I had a go at doing some facebook live video thingies. It worked, and was a bit of fun. I think its a good way of showing you more of the behind the scenes in the shop. At a market you only get to see one aspect. So I like to show you some of the projects I am working on, and my crazy mess!
I've popped a link up in the media section to my Christmas Television message that will start to play soon.
Take care everyone!
I'm in the shop right up until Christmas, just heading to markets over the weekends.
Thank you so much to everyone who came to see me in Delloraine over the weekend! It was another amazing year and I was thrilled wth the feedback that I received.
While I’m on shows - for the first time I headed up to Orange - it was fantastic to go somewhere different - such a beautiful place. I loved it.
Now I’m back in the shop and am starting to think Christmas. (Decorations etc!) I’ve also had a little change around with some of the signs. I’ve added two new products to the website today and will continue to do some updating over the next couple of days. My light box is back in action for the photography so this helps a huge amount.
Its been a great week and I was so lucky to have been interviewed by the Shepp News. They published the article on Tuesday and I was so thrilled that it was so much bigger than I ever imagined and on page three!
I really love that I live in a community that supports and encourages local small business. When you are having a tough couple of weeks and then this happens, all I can say is a mega big thank you!
Thank you Shepp News/ Tara Whitsed.
Its great being back in the shop and home for at least a few weeks.
This month I'm travelling allot!
We've just been in Toowomba to Farmfest - loved it!! And currently in Coolangatta at Cooly Rocks On!
The weather has been interesting
But loving this event. The cars are so cool.
Today Allan and Noeline are at Violet Town and tomorrow at Rutherglen Winery Walkabout.
I'm heading home on Sunday night and will get straight into the shop to unload ready to get cracking making stuff for our next event. Noeline has been working on some gorgeous colours.
Then we head to Perth! That has come up fast!
We were featured in our local paper along with two other amazing local businesses. Huge thanks to Geoff from Lost Shepparton for his support and initiative in putting this together.
I think that it is for holidays for at least a little while, but now I have about a gazillion things to catch on back in the shop. Lots to get made!! Lots of internet updates, and I have some new designs to work on.
I have lots of making to do so I had better get going!
We have just come back from a super quick trip to Hoi An in Vietnam! It is a gorgeous place to visit. We loved the food, the freshness of the cocktails, the gorgeous people, and most importantly the chance to see our family and share the special time with them.
It was also a great chance to do some research! I will be back.
